What's the penalty for failing a mission?Finally I decided to give this concept a try, because it looked very interesting and promissing.
Looks good so far.
But I have one question, hope you can answer it.
I just played a mission where I was noob enough to not find my way back to the drop pod.
The mule was extracted, and the pod left without me. I got the "Mission failed" screen, but at the end, I still received a bunch of minerals/credits and xp.
Is there a difference between success and fail in the game already?

Not so much a penalty, as much as missing out on extra rewards. The entire team gets bonus gold for each teammate that survives. So, if you had survived, you all would have received 4x the bonus, instead of 3x.

If the whole team fails (nobody survives) you get 25% of resources i think (not sure about that number). If at least one member survives you get mission complete and nice loot. So if you are the only one alive and there's big risk of dying if you try to revive others - just go sraight to the pod to complete mission :)

Failing a mission only rewards you a small portion of what you had collected, and no objective rewards obviously.

oh thanks guys for the info. I think it's a good system this way. So you are motivated to win, but even IF you fail, you are not feeling that the time of yours was totally wasted :) hehe :)
